A three-quarter-length portrait of a young girl, with light brown hair, drawn back with a ringlet on her right shoulder, wearing a blue wrap-over dress with gold trim and a white shift with a pale brown scarf billowing behind her to the left. She is. holding a basket of flowers with both hands in front of her, before a column with a landscape behind with clouds and blue sky. One of a set of six pictures by the same artist, of Thomas Hussey I, his wife Frances Lake, and their four children- Thomas Hussey II, John Hussey, Edward Hussey and Frances Hussey. The parents are shown in painted ovals, head-and-shoulders, and the children as three-quarter-lengths. Scotney Castle, Kent (Accredited Museum)
