A three-quarter length portrait, standing in a rocky landscape, turned slightly to left, holding fruit and wheat. Jane Needham was the daughter of Sir Robert Needham of Lambeth and his second wife Jane Cockayne. She was baptised on 23 January 1646 and married on 16 October 1660 Charles Myddleton, 3rd son of the second Sir Thomas Myddelton, Kt., of Chirk Castle and Kevenywerne, Ruabon, Denbighshire. A noted Court Beauty - she was referred to by Evelyn as: “That famous, & indeede incomparable beautifull Lady” in his Diary. Kingston Lacy Estate, Dorset (Accredited Museum)
