Felix Ziegler, second from the left with wind jacket, is accompanied on January 4, 1968, shortly before his sentence in Zurich, by a demonstration including a coffee in which peace and justice are symbolically buried. Ziegler, father of a family and primary teacher in the community of Wila, was sentenced by the second division court to two months in prison for refusing military service on conscientious grounds. To the right of Ziegler is the social democratic cantonal councillor of Zurich, Hansjoerg Braunschweig, who was secretary of the International Civil Service until 1962.
