Rørvik, Nord-Trøndelag, 19621021 In the evening on October 21, the Hurtigruten ship Sanct Svithun went on the ground, lost and sank at Nordøyan on the sea route. The ship had 89 people on board, and 41 people were killed in the shipwreck. It was then the biggest shipwreck in Norwegian history. It took time to find the survivors because the ship had come out of course and was far outside the area that the exploration crews had been stated. Here come some of the survivors in Rørvik.
