Oct. 10, 1954 - Admiral Mountbatten says farewell to president Tito: Admiral the earl Mounbatten of Buran, K.G., K.C.B., G.C.V.O., G.M.S.I., D.S.O, flying his flag in the dispaton vessel Surprise, arrived off the island of Brioni, Yugaslavia, recently. After firing a personal salute to president Tito on the North Side of the Island in sight of the President's House, H.M.S. surprise are horde off the harbor on the South side of the island. Admiral Mountbatten was paying a farewell call on president Tito before relinguishing his command of the Mediterranean Flest later this year. Admiral Mountbatten, accompanied by his personal staff, and Mr. John Shattock, H.M. charge D'Affaires at Belgrade, landed and proceeded to the president's House for his official Call. In attendance with the president were General Gosnjak, Secretary of State for Defence Vice Aderni, Commander-in-Chief of Yugoslav Flast,
