C.I.D.Personal are investigating the double murder at the” Home for elderly gentlefolk” in Montpelier road, ealin of a lady who is generally known as” Lady Menzies” - and her daughter Mrs. Isobel Veronica Chesney. Their bodies were found in different parts of Theo.lady Menzies was found in front of a fire in the downstairs sitting room - and Mrs. Chesney was found half-clad in the bathroom of the top floor. Mrs. Menzies has used the title” Lasy Menzies” since she was married in 1930. to Thomas charmers Menzies - who styled himself as” The tenth baronet” but it was announced soon after the wedding that he was not entered in the official roll of the baronetage.photo shows Thomas Chalmers Menzies and his wife after their marriage in 1930
