Midget submarine being hoisted up out of dock and into water (Scottish loch?), up loch and into sheltered port; US naval officer at quay as sub is tied up; [56'] further trials showing submarine submerged with only periscope visible: small boat in harbour with three men in a rowing boat rowing past; boat tied to quay and several boats at anchor; [110'] sub being towed and filmed from stern of towing vessel: naval personnel on deck, towing out into a choppy sea; [165'] sub being towed into harbour interspersed with the odd shot of naval personnel; [215'] tilting the boat for testing: once upright a submariner steps out.
