The reverse of Don Abbondio. Three robbers, who penetrated the house of the parish priest of Allivellatori (Turin), Don Domenico Gaude, 80 years old, first plundered the perpetual and a nephew of the priest. But they were then confronted by this one who engaged in a violent fight with one of the bandits, who to free himself hit him in the chest with a knife, injuring him quite badly.
