Like in a fairy tale. In the letter written to the Befana in early January, little Marisa Leonzio, daughter of a farmer from Gorgo, a hamlet of Rosignano Solvay (Livorno), asked that they give her a bridge, but a real bridge to be thrown on the Chioma stream that she had to cross every morning to go to school. A film company, who became aware of this, fulfilled his wish and had the bridge built. And she, the kind schoolgirl, was the first to go through the day when, in the presence of the authorities, it was inaugurated. Illustration for Courier Sunday, 2 February 1958.
