A Kind Story (Colour Litho)

A kind story. Three months ago, the hunter Sante Bagatella di Conselve found a leprottino a few days old in a pile of leaves. He put it in the game bag and I'll take it home. I raise my son Titian. Everyone loved him. But a couple of weeks later Osvaldo (they called him that) wanted his freedom back. He got it. For some time, no one saw him anymore. Then one night in October he reappeared. Since then, after sunset, the beast comes to visit its benefactors, lets itself be caressed, plays with the dog, takes its ration of milk and then escapes into the darkness of the countryside.
