The style was known as the 'Gypsey dress' and retailed at £110. The sitter is Pamela, Lady Harlech, an American fashion editor and journalist who married Lord Harlech (1918-1985) - British Ambassador to the United States in the early 1960s - in 1969. This is a second shot of the same dress during the same photoshoot giving a different view of the garment.
