Published by Hannah Humphrey (1779-1882). Satire on the Westminster by-election depicting an election riot. In the left foreground Richard Sheridan (1751-1816) stands over Sir Sampson Wright (d.1793) who kneels on the ground in alarm. On the right a party of Guards pierce Charles Fox's (1749–1806) posterior with a bayonet. Behind, Lord John Townshend (1757–1833) and Edmund Burke (1730–97) hold up their hands in shocked surprise.
