Files: Your Guide to Sizes, Image & Video Types and Resolutions

On each of our individual image or footage pages you will find all the relevant information regarding resolution, dimensions and file size. The brief overview below will help you determine which files are suitable for your projects. (Note: if you require a file in a different format or size please be in touch with our team, who are on hand to assist you with your individual needs, and deliver on bespoke enquiries.)

 

What is a Hi-Res file?

Hi-res, High-Res or high-resolution images are at least 300 pixels per inch (ppi).
 

How to know what file size you require?

We automatically supply the highest resolution files on hand. If we don't have a high-resolution file available for your preferred image, our in-house Content Team will scan it for you at no extra cost. If a high-resolution file is already available but you require a much larger file, we may need to charge a rescan fee.
