Agnolo Bronzino

Italian painter, 1503-1572

Painter whose style dominated Florentine painting from 1530s-1560s. He was court artist to Cosimo I deu2019 Medici. Known for sophisticated style and extraordinary technical ability. Pontormou2019s Mannerist style was the major formative influence on Bronzinou2019s art.
