On this side are three rows of animals walking one behind the other. In the upper register, oxen with wide eyes are walking together, the muscles of their legs clearly defined - a typical feature of the art of this period. In the middle register are donkeys, and in the third register are rams. Each row ends with a young animal. In the lowest register, trees and plants representing the environment can be seen. The word tehenu is on the lower right side; this refers to the Libyans of the Western Delta, and so indicates that these animals may have been taken by the Egyptians following a war.
