Elamites burning and pillaging a Babylonian Village. Babylon's struggle with Elam continued after the death of Hammurabi, whose closing years were probably marred by fresh conflicts with his old enemy. An end was finally put to these depredations when Samsu-iluna. Hammurabi's son and successor, defeated the Elamite army and captured or slew Rim-Sin.
