BOTANICAL TEXTURE 4 FLORAL ABSTRACT PAINTING, 2021 (Acrylic Mixed Media) This piece is whimsical, pattern-like, and abstracted but with a definite nod toward Nature’s beauty, specifically botanicals, plants, and flowers. As an artist, I am drawn to Nature for my inspiration, and I often get the urge to paint what I see around me, sometimes with little planning and more of an instinctual approach, letting my love of the organic shapes and colors guide my way. This painting is organic, flowing, and layered, the way I envision many aspects of Nature, as well. And as it's abstract, it can be oriented however is preferred.
