White hair and beard. Dark interior background. Frederick William John Hervey, 3rd Marquess of Bristol, (1834-1907). MP. Son of Frederick William (Earl Jermyn), 2nd Marquess of Bristol (1800-1864) and Katherine Isabella Manners, daughter of the 5th Earl of Grafton. Married in 1862 Geraldine Anson, daughter of General the Hon. George Anson. He had two daughters and was therefore succeeded by his nephew Frederick William Fane Hervey (1863-1951) as 4th Marquess.
