After art school and a career in advertising as an art director and then as a designer in new product development, I went feelance.
My work included design as well as illustration commissions through my then agents, The Garden Studio, (in Covent Garden), mostly food, plants and flowers.
Clients were companies like Tesco, Waitrose etc.
I also began painting for myself and sold reproduced as cards and prints through companies like Rosenstiels, Images and Editions etc.
The paintings also sold well in Galleries including the Mall Galleries in London and Galerie d’Orsay in Paris.
I am also a photographer and with my husband, (he wrote) covered a lot of travel and jazz.
Weddings were another thing that I shot for Brides magazine and others. Good fun but exhausting.
In recent years I am back to painting again as well as writing and illustrating a range of children’s books. Examples of my work can be seen here.
