Jan. 01, 1954 - Special Drug reaches boy bleeding to death after the wrong drug had been flown 4,500 miles; A drug needed to save an eight year old boy from bleeding to death has reached the children's hospital at Innsbruck by Jeep. A snow plough cleared the last 35 miles of road to Innsbruck Shad of the jeep carrying the precious consignment of globulin which had been flown to Frankfurt from Massachusettes. On Sunday the wrong serum was brought 4,500 miles by plane and car. The boy, Gottfried Eder, age 8, son of a Kufstein merchant has been suffering from persistent bleeding since he had a tooth extracted five days ago
