FASCISM card of the Italian Youth of the Littorio of the year XVII of the Fascist Era, registered to the ten-year-old “Son of the Lupa” Alessio Anna of Vallecrosia (IM), on which the oath imposed on children is printed: “In the name of God and Italy I swear to carry out the orders of the DUCE and to serve with all my strength and if it is necessary with my blood the cause of the Fascist Revolution.” The GIL was founded by Royal Decree of 27 October 1937, in force from the 16th year of the Fascist era, by the confluence of the National Opera table, created for young people of both sexes from 6 to 17 years, and of the Fasci youth fighting (18-21 years), to encourage the spiritual, sports and military preparation of Italian boys based on the principles of the ideology of the regime, within an organization controlled directly by the national secretariat of the PNF. The card also specifies the social security compensation in case of an accident, provided by the Mutual Assistance Fund “Arnaldo Mussolini”, provided that the conditions in the settlement are met.
