Students of Physchology are here shown undergoing a test to demonstrate the practicability of the emotion detector being operated by Mrs. J. W. Von Uffel, electro cardiographic technician. The apparatus registered the emotions of the students through pulse, respiration and blood pressure on the moving graph. The machine is sadi to be an improvement over the recently invented lie detector machine which is now being used by police departments in the detection of crime. The test was made yesterday at a private showing of the motion picture "Dr. Jekyll and Mrs. Hyde.” Sylvia Leopold and Adele Plechner are undergoing the tests. 8.6” x 6.7”
