Ernst Emil Schlatter was a Swiss painter and graphic artist born in 1883. He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Zurich and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Schlatter was known for his expressionist style and his use of bold colors and strong lines. He was also a member of the Zurich Dada movement, which was a group of artists and writers who rejected traditional art and literature in favor of a more experimental and avant-garde approach. Schlatter's work often featured abstract and surreal elements, and he was particularly interested in exploring the relationship between art ...
