ACS sponsors London Visitors Prize Artist's Collecting Society (ACS) is a proud sponsor of this year's London Visitor's Prize at the National Open Art Competition, which awards £1,000. The winner is yet to be announced. ACS was founded by Harriet Bridgeman in 2006 as a not-for-profit company dedicated to the administration of the Artist’s Resale Right. It currently represents nearly 800 artists and artists' estates, from well-known artists such as Frank Auerbach, Howard Hodgkin, Paula Rego and Sir Eduardo Paolozzi, and artists' estates such as that of Dame Barbara Hepworth, to emerging artists such as Phoebe Unwin, Stuart Pearson Wright and Martino Gamper. |
A Night With Ronnie Wood The prize-giving opened with an excellent speech by the veteran Rolling Stone, Ronnie Wood, who is an artist in his own right.
Harriet Bridgeman was delighted to have been seated next to Ronnie at the trustees' dinner that night. She describes him as “good fun, wonderfully enthusiastic and a great addition to the party”.
