Now representing: Eileen Hogan

Bridgeman Images is now representing Eileen Hogan for copyright, reproduction and licensing

 

Eileen Hogan (b.1946) is an English painter, printmaker and book artist. Her work is predominantly focused around the themes of the natural world in particular parks and gardens, evoking late summer afternoons in South London, near her home.  Hogan is also a Professor in Fine Art in the Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon art schools. She has exhibited her work internationally and can be found in both public and private collections.

Recent exhibitions include a two-year long touring exhibition of her cycle of paintings, drawings and prints inspired by Ian Hamilton Finlay’s garden Little Sparta and a solo exhibition at Browse & Darby which was accompanied by the publication Edges & Encounters

In 2015 the film: Tate Masterclass: Life Drawing with Eileen Hogan was part of the display in Tate Britain: Reception, Rupture and Return: The Model and the Life Room. 

Her work Self- Portrait, Pembroke Studios has been shown at the National Portrait Gallery, the Usher Gallery in Lincoln, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and the New Walk Museum & Art Gallery in 2017.

Hogan is currently Artist-in-Residence at the Garden Museum, London.

Eileen Hogan joins a distinguished list of artists and artists’ estates to have appointed the Bridgeman Artists’ Copyright Service including Lucian Freud and Stanley Spencer. 

Even if the image is not held by Bridgeman, copyright can still be cleared.
