Portrait of comedian Musidora on the cover of the second episode of the novel cinema from Louis Feuillade's film “” Judex””. After the immense success of “” Fantomas”” (1913-1914), Feuillade was in trouble with his next film, “” The Vampires” (1915-1916), which was banned by the police chief. The following year (1917) released “Judex”, a 5-hour series in 12 episodes, with Musidora and Rene Creste (in the title role of the vigilante). As was customary at that time, the cinematographic work was relayed by handy brochures illustrated by photos taken from the film.
