The ovoid silver body overall enamelled in translucent pink over guilloché moiré ground, the front with a circular white enamel clock face with blue Arabic chapters, a blue minute ring and gilt stylized leaf and swag decoration and gilt scroll openwork hands, the glass face within seed-pearl set bezel with a pillar catch and hinge mounted with four pearls, the body divided by a central band of mounted seed-pearls with gold engraved stiff-leaf berried rims, the reverse with a circular hinged panel of openwork roundels of laurel and geometric motifs concealing the clock mechanism, with two winding apertures below (lacking the hinged covers).
