Description
Meeting of British, Arab and Bedouin officials in April 1921 after the Cairo Conference. At centre front are Thomas Edward Lawrence (1888-1935) who lead the 1916 Arab revolt, Viscount Herbert Louis Samuel (1870-1963) who was British High Commissioner of Palestine, and King Abdullah of Jordan (1882-1951). Gertrude Lowthian Bell (1868-1926) far left and Sheik Majid Pasha el Adwan far right.
