Color, form, and light mutually relate, creating something new and better. I start with movement by playing with materials, alert to what sparks my interest, always a surprise, and then translate my excitement into a feast for viewers. I look for an “aaaah” response, neither overdone nor timid. My paintings have evolved by my observing varied expressions of beauty: natural and human-made wonders, from petals of flowers, to stars reflected in a river below, to skewed lines of city buildings.
I absorb the energy around me and transmit it to others via my artwork.
