Austro-Hungarian journalist, writer, political activist and founder of modern political Zionism, Theodor Herzl (1860–1904). Here shown in profile facing left with a long, dark beard and wearing a suit. Signed on the plate by both Herzl and Struck and dated by both, May 27, 1903.
