The groping blind as a study for the painting in the Vienna Court Museum. The Miracle of St. Francis. Approximately 1620 Rubens produced a large series of images for the Jesuit church in Antwerp, which unfortunately burned 1718 except for 4 pieces. Three of them are in the Vienna Museum: St. Ignatius, the Assumption and St Francis Xavier. Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640); Flemish School Der tastende Blinde Der tastende Blinde als Studie zu dem Gemälde in dem Wiener Hofmuseum. Die Wunder des heiligen Franziskus. Ca. 1620 lieferte Rubens eine grosse Folge von Bildern für die Jesuitenkirche in Antwerpen, welche 1718 leider bis auf 4 Stück verbrannten. Drei davon sind im Wiener Museum: Der heilige Ignatius, Mariae Himmelfahrt und der heilige Franz Xaver. Handzeichnungen alter Meister aus der Albertina und anderen Sammlungen.
