Interior, TILT up, view of the High Altar and Ceiling. Seen is the bronze Ciborium, originally created for the Hospital of Santa Maria della Scala (across the Piazza) by Lorenzo di Pietro circa 1467-1472, but was moved to the Cathedral in 1506 to replace the Maesta altarpiece (by Duccio di Buoninsegna).
