Mahadev Desai (1892 – 1942) was an Indian independence activist and writer best remembered as Mahatma Gandhi's personal secretary. Sarojini Naidu (born as Sarojini Chattopadhyay) also known by the sobriquet as The Nightingale of India and was a poet.
