Helmet made from a large Porcupine fish. The head has been cut away and the edges trimmed with plaited cord. The interior of the skin is lined with mat work. the cut end of the fish (i.e. where the helmet goes on the wearer's head) is shaped so that a flap of fish skin comes down as protection for the wearer's neck.
