Mayoral presents an exhibition inspired by the Spanish Pavilion at the 1937 Paris Exposition Internationaledes Arts et Techniques dans la Vie Moderne, commemorating 80 years since its inauguration. The original pavilion marked a crucial moment during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), with the Spanish Republic using it as a platform to demonstrate to the rest of the world the atrocities that were taking place in Spain. The exhibition runs from 18 January to 10 February 2017 at Mayoral gallery in St James's. |
