Photomontage by John Heartfield on justice in the era of National Socialism from the Prague emigres newspaper "Arbeiter-Illustrierte" bearing the inscription: "Sie richten das Volk, solange das Volk nicht sie richtet" (They execute the people, as long as the people do not execute them) showing a judge with ax. The description refers to the Richardstrasse process in which the People's Court sentenced to death five communist defendants.
