AGRICULTURE Child shows a bunch; he is the son of a laborer responsible for harvesting, cleaning and packing grapes, one of the many who accompanied their mothers to work in the absence of a nursery or other safe location. The grape peelers: this is the name given to the fifteen thousand Abruzzo women, aged from twelve to seventy, who every year in September harvested, peeled and packaged the famous Regina Grape which grows on the Ortonese hills.
