A castle on a wooded hill on the left, with trees of green, golden and brown undertones here and there, two trees in the right foreground and two resting figures towards the left one sitting on a boulder, one reclining on the ground.The figure on the boulder is wearing a light golden-brown tunic. The one on the ground is naked apart from a turquoise cloth draped across his lap. In the centre a distant view leads to the sea. Blue sky fading to white light in far distance on right.
