Description
Colt .36 inch percussion revolver, Navy model, 1856 (c). Manufactured by Samuel Colt, this weapon was owned by Lieutenant Francis Morley of 1st Battalion, 3rd (East Kent) Regiment. Morley carried the revolver in the Crimean War (1854-1856) and later at the capture of the Taku Forts in the Second China War (1856-1860).
