Exotic and stylish packaging

Lovely packaging for soaps, candles and bath salts from Italian soap and fragrance company Ortigia Srl, using silk painting of Indian elephant from the Bridgeman archive.

Bridgeman Art Library have licensed a beautiful painting of an Indian elephant for to be used as packaging for bath salts, soaps and candles by Ortigia Srl. The license deal is for three years and runs from December 2012 with distribution worldwide, including Ortigia shops in London, Rome and Florence.

Sue Townsend, owner of Ortigia Srl, approached Bridgeman as they needed an image to communicate both the origin and the character of the essence of Indian sandalwood. The elephant image (see below) was ‘just perfect’ and Bridgeman’s service was ‘outstanding’.

Bridgeman’s image archive is growing all the time with world cultures represented from thousands of collections from across the world. Contact us for expert picture research, copyright clearance and high resolution images.
