Newell Convers Wyeth (1882-1945) was an American artist and illustrator known for his realistic and dramatic paintings. Born in Needham, Massachusetts, Wyeth studied at the Massachusetts Normal Art School and later at the Eric Pape School of Art in Boston. He began his career as an illustrator, working for magazines such as Scribner's and Harper's Weekly. In 1911, he moved to Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, where he established a studio and began painting landscapes and portraits. Wyeth's work often depicted scenes from American history and literature, including illustrations for books such as Trea Newell Convers Wyeth (1882-1945) was an American artist and illustrator known for his realistic and dramatic paintings.
