Clive Uptton was a British artist born in 1911. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London and later became a member of the Royal Society of British Artists. Uptton was known for his landscape paintings, which often depicted the English countryside and coastlines. He also painted portraits and still lifes. Uptton's work was exhibited in many galleries throughout his career, including the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of British Artists.
