My early career, following four years at art school, was as a freelance illustrator working for advertising, newspapers, magazine and in publishing. I took up etching and painting and as time went on was encouraged to submit work to the many open exhibitions which are held annually in London. This led to my work being seen regularly in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, where I showed etchings, while my paintings were accepted for The Sunday Times Watercolour Competition, The Discerning Eye and New English Art Club Exhibitions at the Mall Galleries, as well as the Royal Watercolour Society Open exhibition. I was elected an Associate of the Royal Watercolour Society in 2005 and a full Member in 2008 and have since then exhibited regularly in their exhibitions held twice a year at Bankside Gallery, London.
I have work in many private collections.
