Description
An exploration of the Louvre in Paris as "habitation," a place where people actually lived and still live. (1978). At the time of this filming the director of the French state museums, Emmanuel de Margerie, resided in the Louvre and permitted this unique visit by arts critic and lecturer Rosamond Bernier. Many of the Louvre's treasures are seen, as well as rooms that are off limits to the public.
