In the scene Leslie Howard (3 April 1893 - 1 June 1943) plays the protagonist Sir Percy Blakeney (alter ego of the mysterious Red Primula) and Merle Oberon (February 19, 1911 - November 23, 1979) plays Lady Blakeney, his French bride, Marguerite St. Just.
