Images of War includes a vast archive of war footage, spanning from the early 1900s to the Gulf War in 1992, covering conflicts such as Korea, Vietnam, and the Cold War. This collection includes over 14 hours of World War I material and extensive coverage of nearly every military operation during World War II. Unlike other archives, this collection includes original, first-hand footage of armed conflict, such as during the Vietnam War.
Discover this distinctive collection of footage, including a diverse range of footage from the 1900s to the 1990s. A large proportion of the footage comes from an agent in America at NARA (National Archives and Records Administration), with other clips sourced from trading. This collection is unlike other war footage, as it has been unedited original film footage from key points throughout the 20th century. Recent advancements have also allowed for original footage to be converted to higher quality.
