- 2 January: 250 years since the birth of Christian Daniel Rauch (1777–1857), renowned German sculptor and a key figure of 19th-century Neoclassicism.

- 8 January: 80 years since the birth of David Bowie (1947–2016), British pop and rock singer, songwriter, and actor. Bowie is recognized as one of the most influential musicians of the
20th century globally.

- 25 January: 500 years since the coronation of François I as King of France. His reign led to the French Renaissance, characterized by changes in French culture and lasting contributions to art, and architecture.

- 6 March : 100 years since the birth of Gabriel García Márquez (1927–2014), Colombian novelist and one of the 20th century’s most famous writers. Author of One Hundred Years of Solitude, he won the 1982 Nobel Prize in Literature.

- 26 March: 200 years since the death of Ludwig van Beethoven (1770–1827), German composer and pianist. A pivotal figure in Western classical music, he transformed symphonic, chamber, and piano music with his innovative compositions.

- 28 June: 450 years since the birth of Peter Paul Rubens (1577–1640), Flemish Baroque painter. Celebrated for his dynamic compositions, vibrant color, and monumental works, he became one of the most influential artists of the 17th century.

- 16 September: 50 years since the death of Maria Callas (1923–1977), Greek soprano and one of the most celebrated opera singers of the 20th century. Renowned for her dramatic interpretations and exceptional vocal technique.
