Inscribed: inscribed in yellow, top right: Ann Countess of Bedford. A three-quarter-length portrait of a young woman, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, her right hand resting against a table top, her left hand holding a grey scarf which is draped over her blue silk off-the-shoulder dress. She has blonde hair which fall in ringlets on her shoulders. Large stone pillar on a plinth to the left, shadows to the right. Ham House, Surrey (Accredited Museum)
