Created at the Omega Workshops Ltd.: a design enterprise founded by members of the Bloomsbury Group and established in July 1913 (until 1919), located at 33 Fitzroy Square in London. This vase is one of the largest surviving Omega Workshops ceramics. Fry was particularly proud of the effect of the turquoise glaze, with a similar example featuring in several of the Omega’s advertisements.
