Catherine Sutcliffe-Fuller trained as a Fine Artist Printmaker and has been practising professionally since 1993, a year before completing her Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Brighton in 1994.
Her first selected show was at the Oriel Mostyn, Llandudno (5th Open) in 1993. Following this she has exhibited at many prestigious galleries and exhibitions throughout this country and abroad, including the 'Laing Open Art Exhibition' at the Mercer Art Galley in 1994 and the ING Discerning Eye 2011 in London. Her work was exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Show in 2010 and 2012 (being Catherine Sutcliffe-Fuller trained as a Fine Artist Printmaker and has been practising professionally since 1993, a year before completing her Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Brighton in 1994.

Her work was exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Show in 2010 and 2012 (being commended in the latter) and she has most recently been short listed for the John Ruskin Prize with three works for a show partnering the V&A exhibition titled 'Recording Britain Now' at the Millennium Gallery in Sheffield.
Living and working as a printmaker in York, Catherine creates multi layered prints by carving out lino and etching zinc plate with nitric acid and her work has always been about land management in the area of York.
She currently works as an Artist in Residence on tracts of land in and around the city.
Supported in her work by Hiscox Insurance, BAM Construction, Bowmer & Kirkland, Caddick Construction and, most recently, by the City of York Council,
she is fascinated by the ways in which we process, view, experience and analyse the landscape, especially when differing environments intersect. Her interest in change of land use invites questions in terms of the way the landscape is perceived and how we use it and alter it to meet our needs.
Private collections include House of Lords, Parliamentary Art Collection, Royal Bank of Scotland, Art in hospitals, Defra, Hiscox Insurance time capsule and Shepherd Construction.
